About the Blogger
Michael Stanton is the Publisher of The Bond Buyer, and the principal author of The Bond Blogger.
His 12-year career at The Bond Buyer included stints as a reporter in New York covering Wall Street and bond insurance, in Washington, DC covering Federal tax law issues, and as the paper's Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief. He left the newsroom to obtain an MBA in 2001, and returned in 2003 on the business side of the paper as program manager for The Bond Buyer Conferences. He was named Publisher in 2005, and is now responsible for both the paper's editorial and business operations.
