Calif. Market Close: Tax-Exempts Finish Flat to Slightly Firmer
The California municipal market was unchanged to slightly firmer today.
“There’s a little bit of firmness, but not much. Probably not enough to move the scale even,” a trader in Los Angeles said. “But the tone is firmer. In some spots, maybe we’re better a basis point or two. But I’d call it unchanged overall.”

Market Post: Munis Largely Unch in Morning Trade
The municipal market was largely unchanged this morning.
“There’s not a whole lot going on right now,” a trader in New York said. “The new issue calendar is pretty light this week, and right now people are just sort of easing their way back in from the weekend. I see it pretty flat out there.”
