Calif. Market Close: Tax-Exempts Finish Slightly Firmer
NEW YORK – The California municipal market was slightly firmer today.
“We were mostly unchanged at the very short end, I’d say, but there was some definite firmness as you move out longer,” a trader in Los Angeles said.

Market Close: Munis Slightly Firmer at Close
NEW YORK – The municipal market was slightly firmer today.
“We’re a little firmer right now,” a trader in New York said. “The Treasury market is kind of sideways, but we’re doing a little better. I’d say we’re a good two basis points firmer right now, more so on the long end.”
