Calif. Market Close: Tax-Exempts Finish Slightly Weaker

The California municipal market was slightly weaker today, following Treasuries.
“There wasn’t a whole lot of movement today, but there was some weakness,” a trader in Los Angeles said. “We were barely off in the morning, but we ended maybe down two basis points, three in some spots.”

The municipal market was slightly weaker today, following Treasuries.
Traders said tax-exempt yields were higher by two or three basis points.
