Market Post: Munis Unch in Light Trading
The municipal market was unchanged in light trading this morning, with the market set for little new-issue supply during the holiday-shortened week.
“It’s very quiet. I’m making the rounds because the phone doesn’t seem to be ringing much,” a trader in New Jersey said. “We firmed up at the end of last week as we got through supply, and there’s not much more supply this week.”
